"We wrote the whole record in three months, basically doing nothing else than sitting in a room with Riku (vocals) trying to come up with riffs and song ideas. The recording took almost three times as much as the writing process, ran into alot of problems, but it's all good now." The difficulties of spending so much time together can get frustrating for any band, but looking ahead and keeping focus is what gets you through. "There's always alot of difficulties when writing and recording, but I think every artist acknowledges that, so when times get rough you always find light at the end of the tunnel somehow."
A positive outlook and faith in the result of hard work builds a strong foundation of trust and an even greater yearning. "Trying to push yourself as far as you can usually takes alot of 'juice' from you. We've definitely evolved a lot from that process and I think when it comes to writing a sophomore album it's gonna be a lot easier."
Plans don't always work out but if there's a commitment, you've really got to stick with them. "If everything goes as planned, it should be fucking awesome. Stoked to get back on tour again."
For a young band with a long road ahead of them, they've got a bright future leading them into what they want to do for a living. With anything you love, there's going to be a cycle; a circle if you will, of repetition. Just because it is a circle doesn't mean that there's no room for progress or evolvement. It just means that this circle will get larger, contempt or no contempt. If it's something that you want, then go for it. "I'm on my way to achieving all the things I've dreamed of."
